Follow a bake with Live View
See frames appear while the bake runs, cancel safely, and judge the final result.

Step by step
- Start the bake
Click Bake. Cloth neXt validates the scene, prepares the inputs and starts the solver. Progress is shown in the Cloth neXt Bake Window.
- Watch Live View
Frames appear as soon as each one is complete. The last finished frame stays visible until the next one is ready.
- Cancel if needed
Click Cancel Bake to stop. A cancelled or failed bake does not destroy the previous valid result.
- Wait for the final cache
When the bake finishes, playback switches to the final cache.
- Judge the final result
Review the finished playback, not Live View. Live View is only for following progress.
Check the result
After the bake, playback runs from the final cache and shows the whole range.
If something goes wrong
- Blender runs out of memory
- Keep Auto-Cancel on High RAM enabled. It stops the bake before the system becomes unstable.
- The bake was interrupted
- With Enable Recovery on, click Resume Latest to continue from the last verified checkpoint.
