The core of your cloth workflow.

AETHER is the established simulation core in Cloth neXt. Set up your scene, choose the material behaviour and bake from Blender's Physics properties.

Cloth and layered garments
Simulate fabric and layered clothing as part of the character scene.
Contact with animated characters
Work with animated colliders so cloth can respond to the character's movement.
Soft bodies
Use the same engine for soft body work in the Cloth neXt workflow.

From Blender.
Through the native engine.

Install from the add-on

Open the Cloth neXt add-on preferences and install AETHER from the official upstream release. The add-on checks engine compatibility before each bake.

Set up and bake

Prepare cloth, contacts and material settings in Blender's Physics properties, then start the bake from Cloth neXt.
